While the garden season is winding down, we are active all year.

You can help!

We have a goal to raise $2,500 by December. We have raised part of this goal already with great thanks to all our event participants.

Here’s how to help us meet the goal!
NCG was accepted into a Challenge Campaign with SeedMoney.Org. All donations received between November 15 and 21 can help us earn up to an additional $500!

Spread the word!

We welcome your ideas for fall- winter-spring activities!

Mission Statement

The Newkirk Community Garden is a small space with a big mission: to bring neighbors together to grow healthy food and native flora, build community, encourage healthy ecosystems, and care for and celebrate our neighborhood.

WHAT'S GROWING?

Check our our photos on Facebook and Instagram! There are herbs and other edible plants in the planters on the sidewalk, which everyone is welcome to snip and use 24/7. If you would like to grow plants for your own use, you can consider volunteering!
